THE TRAIN’S HOUSE-BOUTIQUE APARTMENTS

The Train’s House is one of the oldest historical building at Stone Town, Zanzibar built in 1800’s and was renovated and upgraded in 2017. The building features 10 modern apartments, gym, restaurant, shops, offices, ATM’s etc. The apartments features modern safety equipment together with fast fiber optic internet, traditional rustic themed furniture and modern home appliances.

The Train’s House commonly known as ‘Jumba La Treni’ in Swahili due to its long and narrow look which resembles the old trains during colonial era is just about 300 metres from the port and the beach and about 7km to the Airport. The apartments are located at CBD, just 20 metres from the Old slave market which is now used as the biggest local market. The furniture found within the apartments are all made from locally available traditional materials which breathes authenticity and strong cultural ambience to all visitors. The penthouse apartment is used as a dedicated lounge for all residents to mingle for small shared activities and fun experiences.

Guests will have access to their individual apartments, with a living room, bedroom, kitchen and ensuite bathroom. Guests will also access the common lounge and be able to use all amenities present at the lounge area. Daily cleaning will also be available. The management will provide parking for all residents.
